Black Walnut Cake

Ingredients

vanilla

lemon extract

milk

black walnuts
chopped
Instructions
Line the bottom of a tube cake pan with parchment paper and spray well with Pam.
Sift flour and salt together. Set aside.
Cream butter and sugar together until well incorporated.
Mix in eggs one at a time.
Add vanilla and lemon extract.
Mix in flour and milk alternately, beginning with flour and ending with flour.
Add black walnuts and mix well. Pour batter into cake pan.
Bake at 300°F starting in a cold oven for 2 hours.
Cool on a rack in the pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and place on a serving platter.
